ASCM Lehigh Valley is the local chapter of ASCM - The Association for Supply Chain Management - The global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in supply chain and operations management, purchasing, and logistics. ASCM Lehigh Valley is dedicated to enhancing the careers of individuals involved in supply chain management by providing opportunities in education and training of ASCM concepts, as well as providing opportunities for career development, networking, and best practice sharing.

The purpose of the Lehigh Valley Chapter is to foster and maintain high standards in the field of supply chain and operations management, to provide a means of mutual exchange of problems, solutions and ideas in the field of supply chain and operations management, to promote educational programs, to inform members and interested nonmembers of techniques and systems in the field of supply chain and operations management, to help members maintain their ASCM certification by scheduling Professional Development Meetings (hereafter referred to as PDM’s) and other educational opportunities that allow them to earn points toward their re-certification.

Lehigh Valley Chapter Receives 2020 CBAR Silver Award - Wednesday, January 20, 2021

Good Day Lehigh Valley Chapter President:

Congratulations!  The APICS Lehigh Valley Chapter has achieved the APICS Chapter Benchmarking and Reporting (CBAR) Silver recognition level.  Your 2020 submission demonstrates your chapter’s dedication to providing exemplary member services and professional development opportunities to ASCM members and customers.

The Chapter Benchmarking and Reporting (CBAR) program was created by APICS chapter volunteer leaders, to recognize chapters that go beyond the minimum required standards, to provide exemplary service to their members and customers.  Adherence to the guidelines established in CBAR and the Partner Agreement (PA-2017) ensures the growth, development, and value-added continuous improvements of APICS chapters by evaluating each chapter against a set of criteria that has a direct and positive impact on chapter performance.

 

Professional Development Meetings

We hold virtual meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month except as noted. No meetings are held in June, July, Aug or Dec.

The virtual meetings are free of charge to members and non-members.
